    ReplyDelete
  37. Honest feedback? I love it, but I found the Aurifil page hard to read, visually. Must be my eyes. The pages like 22 were EASY to read, and so you wanted to relax and read them. Aurifuls page was hard to read, and so as much as I wanted the information, it wasn't relaxing to read it. :( I'm tryin to help... HUGS

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh I just love it. What is there not to love. Let's see I like Gina St. Paddys Day Rose tut, the notebook tut from Rosebud and I really like continuing stories it builds suspense...and now aurifil thread. To be honest I have never tried it but after reading so much info about it, I am going to. It seems like there is nothing not to like about it, is ther such a thing as a perfect thread. I will let you know. Thanks somuch for the new newsletter it is truly awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  39. This is going to be such a sweeeeeet ride!! I really enjoyed, and need to go back and read thru some articles - can the patterns be copied? I also LOVE Aurifil thread. Not sure if you made the poster, but it would be wonderful in my sewing studio!! I REALLY liked it!! Fun & colorful, and if it's not available, you should make some up!!
    Great job!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Love it!!! So much that I have added your button to my blog. I am someone who sews and is new to the quilting world. ReplyDelete
  79. Love the emag! Only have one suggestion and it's to use a less busy background in some of the articles, i.e. Do you Aurifil? The grey background texture blended with the lettering and made it difficult for me to read, even when zoomed in. Guess my eyes are not what they used to be. That's the only issue I had. Hope you keep up this great mag! Thanks for listening.

  147. I totally agree about Aurifil thread. I've been using it for several years and love the way it leaves so little lint compared to other quality threads. Besides the fact that you can fit so much on a bobbin, it makes great bobbin thread because it's so thin that it barely shows on the back of a quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Love the new e-mag. Lots of color, and enjoy the recipes too.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Loved your new magazine and Liz's story was great. I was at a retreat this past weekend and a girl next to me was making a beautiful quilt. It was Rose Tinted Life. I wrote down all the info and then googled you. I am going to get that pattern.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I love your magazine. Different projects, stories, and news about my favorite thing -- Arifil thread. So many things to read - my new favorite mag! Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Well, this is WONDERFUL! And free! I've added your button and I will be an avid follower. Thank you so much. LOVE the "My Heart Stood Still" quilt. I'm new at this, but can I print those directions, or do I have to write the directions down? I tried and tried but couldn't get anything to work. Maybe it's against the rules. I want to make that quilt so bad and don't have a computer in my sewing room upstairs. Help.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Polly... did you download the PDF of the e-Mag to your computer? When you do, you should be able to open it, select the pages you want to print, and you'll be ready to head up to your sewing room and SEW!

  159. Great variety -- something to interest many different folks. The fiction is too cool, and I gotta make "My Heart Stood Still!" Oh yeah, and Princess Bride is the best -- "Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya. Prepare to die."

  164. loved the mag - is it downloadable? or do we have to read it from the blogpage?
I agree about the Aurifil page being hard to read - - some fonts are more challenging for 'old eyes'...
